How To Practise Mindfulness Through Your Beauty Routine

Spending time coming back to the present is something I practise daily and you can do this easily too, without having to leave your bathroom!

Your beauty routine – no matter how simple or lengthy – is a perfect opportunity to really be in the moment and indulge in some self-care. I’m a huge fan of Linden Leaves products, not only because they are natural, but they also make my skin and my home smell like a spa! For me, using products that feel good on my skin is a true act of self-care and self-love, and I feel the same way when I light a deliciously-scented Linden Leaves candle

I always light one when I run a hot bath, which is one of my favourite things to do as an act of self-care. I’ll drop in a Linden Leaves bath bomb and add a few drops of Linden Leaves body oil to the water too. To help me completely relax and cleanse physically as well as spiritually, I’ll also drop in some clear quartz and rose quartz crystals as well as some Epsom salts. Afterwards, I’ll apply a few more drops of body oil to my skin to seal in moisture and then I’m done! It’s a wonderful weekly ritual that enables me to rest and cleanse energetically before a new week begins. I promise you, it’s a ritual well worth trying!
